MAORI,      What can i say about this beautiful dog.

I met him for the first time  at Crufts, being shown by his breeders Derek and Penny Hopgood.

He had been returned to them by his first owner due to ill health.  OUR LUCK WAS WITH US THAT DAY. I can remember putting my fingers into his cage and making eye contact with this beautiful creature. He rolled over and made lovely rumbling noises.

I  knew from that moment on we had to have him I asked Derek could and after a few telephone conversations he agreed, we could  have him on trial, I took him home and he greeted Denise by jumping up and giving her the biggest kiss ever.
WE HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK

We have only shown him a few times, but we have done really well...............

MAORI  has now retired and lives with friends who have another Rottie to keep him company, and runs freely in the field and is still moving big rocks and plays football beautifully
