We sometimes have quality puppies available to good loving homes only, we also offer help and guidance throughout your puppies life, we like to keep in contact with our puppies through to their adulthood. We are always here to help.

All our dogs are Kennel Club registered Hip scored and Eye tested.

Here we have all three colours, some of our blacks carry the yellow gene, others carry the chocolate gene, we also have our chocolates they do not carry the yellow gene.

We breed from our girls only when we wish to continue our lines or take a new baby in the ring.

All our Labradors are bred for their temperament good looks, intelligence and soundness.

All of which fit the breed standards.

They also fit in with loving family homes.

All our puppies that are sold carry breeding/export restrictions, These can be lifted at our discretion, we like to have contact with our puppy buyers and are here to help and advise them, we have over 35 years experience in showing and breeding our dogs.

WE HAVE A LOVELY LITTER OF BLACK/CHOCOLATE BABIES KENNEL CLUB REGISTERED PUPPIES WHICH ARE NOW AVAILABLE : IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A WIDGERWOOD PUPPY. THE FIRST STEP IS TO READ OUR INFORMATION ON THE PUPPIES PAGE, AND THEN EMAIL WITH YOUR DETAILS.

First of all our dogs are healthy family pets, with the added bonus that we show and do very well in the ring.

All our Labradors are carefully bred for their quality,their temperament, health, type, intelligence, soundness . All of which fit the breed standards of the Labrador retriever.

The happiness they bring into our lives can be only understood by true Labrador lovers..

If any Labrador (even a puppy!) knows what is expected of him, is adequately exercised, given some structure and enough mental stimulation and socialization, you will have that perfect family companion that Labradors are known for!

All our dogs are hip scored eye tested under the KC/BVA schemes

THE WIDGERWOOD KENNELS HAS GROWN OVER THE YEARS:

We have also supplied many of our puppies to : Dogs for the Disabled. Many of which are now helping clients to lead a more normal fulfilling life. We also have dogs that have qualified for Pets As Therapy dogs, who visit hospitals , care homes, and residential homes for the elderly.

Yes we do have kennels and we are very proud of them, but not all our dogs can live in the house, we train our puppies at a very early age, they can learn a lot from us, but they will learn even more from an older dog, everyone admires what we have achieved here and can see that our dogs are very happy, and well socialised, we do have our dogs best interest at heart.

All our puppies carry breeding/export restrictions, We are always on hand to help with any questions or problems that may occur during your dogs lifetime and our contract states that if for any reason you are unable to keep your dog, we will always take them back and find a suitable home for them. They are your dogs but always our responsibility.
